I have been interpreting my world visually through form and color long before I can even remember. As a child, I would play outdoors making mud pies and digging deep holes in the earth and sand. I have always felt the need to connect directly to the earth.
Today I use my hands to shape wet clay into tangible realizations of my abstract thoughts and emotions. As the clay moves though my fingers, it is infused with my whimsically sophisticated outlook on life. My work is a direct expression of my personality and wit. Experiences through my eyes, shaped through my hands into satisfying forms and colors makes me whole.
